About McLamb V Arabian Farm, LLC
Co-owner Karen McLamb has always had a love for horses which started at the young age of 3 when her mother put her on a pony at the local fair. Never having the funds for a horse of her own she would spend time with the neighbors quarter horse mare Princess which she would relish the times that she could ride her. Fast forward to her daughter Jensen getting lessons from the Easter Bunny and as you well know one thing lead to another and the hunt to look a horse for her daughter was on. Not knowing which direction to take she was connected with Elizabeth O'Briant, who herself is a breeder of National Champion Half-Arabians, and from there the love with Arabian horses was forged. With the purchase of a Half-Arabian mare by Cytosk the journey began.
Co-Owner Christopher McLamb has always dabbled with a multitude of hobbies and he was looking to start a side venture with the hopes of making a little money along the way. His first purchase was a Half-Arabian bred by Elizabeth O'Briant and from there his love for the Arabian horse started. He placed that horse in training and sold it and then purchased another half Arabian from Elizabeth. He and Elizabeth then teamed up and purchased a Half-Arabian gelding named Siereusly Hot WH from Windholm Farms in Virginia that ended up becoming a multi-national champion in the English division with Sarah Beth Womble.
The quest to breed our own National Champion was started in 2008.
McLamb V Arabian Farm, LLC started from the love for Arabian horses and developed into the hopes of becoming successful breeders and to maintain a dedication and desire to breed excellence.
Their first endeavor at breeding resulted in the amazing Half Arabian Balenciaga +/ more loving referred to as "Chris". He gave them their first US Reserve National Championship. He went on to win multiple Class A shows, Regionals and Scottsdale. At his final show he was Canadian Reserve Champion in the HA Western Pleasure Open, his first year in the bridle in 2015. Chis was lost just before the 2015 US Nationals where hopes were set high for him in the HA WP Open. He was a once in lifetime horse for them and his wonderful owners Sandy and John Zuccarini.
Karen and Chris's mission is simple: "Our commitment to personalized stallion-mare matching sets us apart, ensuring each foal born on our farm is hopefully an exceptional foal with a bright future."
With years of experience and a deep love for these majestic creatures, McLamb V Arabian Farm takes pride in every foal that is born under their care.
